As a UW-Madison research center, the Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy works to enhance graduate and undergraduate education. WAGE provides financial support and research opportunities for Ph.D. candidates and Masters students in a variety of programs and WAGE regularly offers innovative, interdisciplinary, graduate and undergraduate courses on topics central to understanding globalization.
- During the academic year 2007-8, WAGE is proud to support five program assistants.
- This fall WAGE faculty will teach courses such as International Governance, Regulatory Reform, Economic Growth and Development, International Trade and Finance, International Political Economy, Trade Competition and Governance, and Law and Modernization in the Developing World.

The Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy (WAGE) seeks applications from qualified graduate students to serve as the WAGE project assistant. The position is a 50% PA appointment at standard contractual rates and carries with it fringe benefits and tuition coverage. The initial appointment will start between August 1 and 15, 2008, and run through June 30, 2009.
