Global Environmental Studies Research Circle

The research circle bridges disciplines to examine the natural and human dimensions of global environmental change, with the goal of integrating research results across scales from the local to the global and incorporating research into policy-making processes and decisions.

Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment (SAGE)
Research center that examines the linkages between natural resources, human health and security, and changes in the global environment. SAGE's staff and students conduct cutting-edge research on these critical problems, and disseminate that knowledge through innovative teaching and outreach at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The UW Global Health Program is a collaborative initiative of the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, and International Studies. The program develops and supports education, research and partnerships to address health issues that transcend national boundaries.
