As a research center, one of WAGE's primary missions is to support research that enhances our understanding of globalization and the international economy. To that end, we regularly request funding proposals from UW-Madison faculty engaged with these questions. In 2007-8 the Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy held two grant competitions. The first awarded three interdisciplinary collaborative research grants which will run from July 2008 thru June 2011.  To learn more, view the 2008 collaborative grant announcement or the call for proposals. A second competition provided three $10,000 awards to four faculty for academic year 2008-9.
